Alien: Waste & cultivated ground, roadsides; sea-level to 4000'.  Not listed for Division 3, but Meikle says it was beginning to spread on the island and would become common before long.

Although reported as "naturalized invasive" on the Flora of Cyprus  website, no negative impacts were found.

Pathway detail

Probably a garden escape: recorded from Kalopanagiotis-Gerakies roadside, Sanatorio-Kyperountas roadside, Stavros tis Psokas streamside, and from Kato Pafos, between Platania & Kakopetria and Platres.  Habitats include forests and wet valleys.
