It is widely grown in gardens and pots in Cyprus, escapes here and there but has never been documented in detail. To be classified as ‘Casual’ as in other parts of the Mediterranean, e. g. Catalonia (Spain; Aymerich & Sáez 2019)" (Hand 2020).
