The team have been hard at work preparing a workshop on the subject of building capacity for the monitoring and surveillance of non-native species in Cyprus and the UK Sovereign Base Areas. This has involved disseminating a questionnaire asking local managers, researchers and conservationists about their priorities for monitoring on Cyprus. This follows the previously successful implementation of a similar investigation of monitoring priorities in the UK, recently published in the Journal of Applied Ecology.
