Alien: Planted near Salamis and may occur as an introduction in other parts of Cyprus (Meikle 1977).

A native of N. America, planted at few places on the island - Lefkosia, Larnaka, Saittas, Lemesos; rather uncommon (Tsintides et al. 2002).
