Parkinsonia aculeata

Alien: Naturalized non-invasive. Described by Meikle (1977) but without details of status - inferred that it is cultivated as a street tree etc for arid sites.

Native of S. America, naturalized in Cyprus especially along roadsides. Frequent in many lowland areas (Tsintides et al. 2002).
