Habitat detail

"Larnaca – Ayia Varvara, near Stravrovouni. Emerged on september 14, 1984 from Eucalyptus collected on july 24, 1984" (Berger 1988).

"...there was also a scattering of trees dying, or dead, from attack by Ph. semipunctata" (Day 1959); "Breeding in large numbers in trunks of felled Eucalyptus gomphocephala and E. camaldulensis" (Georghiou 1977); Affects aesthetics of the urban landscape as eucalypts are commonly used as ornamentals (Demetriou pers. comm.)
