"Specimens from Cyprus: Near Gerakies, roadside, 1993, Pampos Christodoulou 1520 [2]; South of Pedoulas, roadside, 1998, Hadjikyriakou 3272 [2]; Pedoulas, roadside, 1998, Hadjikyriakou 3560 [2]; Prodromos - Damaskinari, roadside, 1998, Hadjikyriakou 3573 [2]; Prodromos dam, 1998, Hadji¬ kyriakou 3577 [2]; Gerakies, roadside, 1998, Hadjikyriakou 3610 [2]; Wooden bridge - Lemythou road, roadside, 1998, Hadjikyriakou observ. [2] Investigations carried out so far showed that, at present it is restricted to the Marathasa area. It occurs in small groups, scattered here and there, along road banks at an altitude of 900 - 1450 m. The distribution and the occurrence of the plant show that it is not indigenous to Cyprus, and it can be characterized as a casual alien species" (Hadjikyriakou et al. 2004).
