Parasitoid of crop pest Coccus hesperidum (Wood 1963); In the present study this encyrtid was found as an abundant parasite of the black scale only at Evrykhou in 1984 (Table 2). Almost all the adults (99%) were obtained from January to April (Fig. 2). At Evrykhou, only in 1984, high numbers of this parasite were also obtained from black scale on citrus and oleander (Orphanides 1988).
