Alien: Naturalized non-invasive. Dry slopes & open forest; 800-2600' - probably an introduction and in parts of Divisions 1 & 7 where other exotics have been planted. Rather rare: Aftoullina Pafos Forest, Akamas Forest, Agia forest station & beyond Halevka. Possibly planted around abandoned forest stations but failed to expand its range. Typical habitat is phrygana.
