Alien: Casual. Moist ground by streams at high altitudes; 3000-4000' - only certainly recorded from Division 2, where in the Troödos, the Forestry Dept has widely planted it (Meikle 1985).
Adventive to Cyprus, occuring along streams and on cultivated ground (Tsintides et al. 2002).
