Establishment status detail

Alien: Is said to be cultivated at Salamis and Nicosia and is probably to be found elsewhere in Cyprus (Meikle 1977).

Native of China, frequently planted in Cyprus in recent years, especially on city pavements (common in Lefkosia, Agios Theodoros Agrou and elsewhere) (Tsintides et al. 2002).
