Alien:
On citrus, rose, jasmine, Eunymus, Gleditschia (widespread and destructive). Also on carob, mulberry (Georghiou 1977); C. mandalina, C. limon, C. paradisi, C. sinensis, A. cyanophylla (Şişman & Ülgentürk 2010); This species occurs very commonly on citrus trees, especially lemons, and in case of heavy infestation causes defoliation. Carob, mulberry, rose and other plants are also attacked. This is the most important cittrus pest on the Island and a certain ammount of spraying and fumigation are carried out against it (Morris 1937).
