Alien: Casual. Extensively cultivated between 3000-4000', also found in gardens - Meikle does not suggest any wild/escaped/naturalised sites. Found in abandoned plantations that have been invaded by Pinus brutia and other forest species e.g. Kampos (stream margins), Lagoudera (roadside and along streams), south of Lagoudera (roadside), and from Trooditissa Monastery & Milikouri. Typical habitats river valleys & wet valleys.
