"Troodos, roadside, 1998, Christofides in Hadjikyriakou 3549 [2]; Akrotiri (Fasouri), track in Eucalyptus plantation, 2000, Makris in Hadjikyriakou 5056 [3]. It has been collected from two different localities, namely from Troodos Square, about 1700 m altitude and from Akrotiri area at sea level. Although it is indigenous to most of the European and many Mediterranean countries, its distribution in Cyprus suggests that it is a new record of a casual alien" (Hadjikyriakou et al. 2004).
