The details of the herbium specimen cited in van Slageren are as follows: CYPRUS: Amathus, Holub s.n. (K).
That is, the specimen is an unnumbered collection from the Amathus area collected by Holub. Assuming this is Dr Emil Holub (1847-1902), the Czech explorer, then the plant was almost certainly present in Cyprus before the 20th Century.
