Alien:
Coll. On Citrus, grape, carnation, Pistacia (?) atlantica (very heavy infestation), Clematis, Begonia, Laurus nobilis, Arbutus andrachne, Acacia (Georghiou 1977); Citrus sp., Ficus sycomorus, F. benjamina. Coccus hesperidum is a polypagous and cosmopolitin species. It was determined on Citrus sp., Citrus reticulata Blanco (Rutaceae), Laurus nobilis (Lauraceae) and Acacia saligna (Labill.) H.L.Wendl. (Fabaceae) in Northern Cyprus. All stages of C. floridensis were found in high densities on host plants (Şişman and Ülgentürk, 2010) (Ülgentürk et al. 2015); on F. microcarpa (Compton et al. 2020b).
