Impacts
During the initial surveys, M. bicolor and Odontofroggatia spp. were found to be the most prominent potential biological control agents due to their high abundance and demonstrated negative impacts on pollinators and seed production (Mavrovounioti, unpublished data; Demetriou et al. in press) [Ficus microcarpa alien invasive].
