Alien: Naturalized invasive. Cultivated in gardens; locally naturalized on rocky slopes or by streamsides 2500-5600' - only listed for Division 2 (Meikle 1977).
An adventive species in Cyprus, frequently found as an escape from cultivation on the Troodos mountain range (Tsintides et al. 2002).
