"Introduced on citrus seedlings from Palestine in 1934 [...] may be completely eradicated" (Morris 1937); "On guava, orange, Pittosporum" (Georghiou 1977); Şişman & Ülgentürk (2010) recorded C. floridensis on Citrus sp. (Rutaceae), Eriobotrya japonica (Thunb.) Lindl. (Rosaceae), Laurus nobilis L. (Lauraceae) and Nerium oleander L. (Apovynaceae). All stages of C. floridensis were found in high densities on host plants [...] Ficus benjamina, Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, Salix spp., Hedera helix (Ülgentürk et al. 2015); Eriobotrya japonica, Citrus sp., Nerium oleander, Laurus nobilis (Şişman and Ülgentürk 2010); most plants are ornamental (Demetriou pers. comm.)
